Just Working Harder Won't Get You Ahead.

"The strongest predictor of skill wasn't simply time spent practicing; rather, it was "time spent in serious study".

It matters a great deal how we structure our time. Not just time management to accomplish a set of tasks by their deadlines, but "just as important is being smart about the work you are doing, and focusing on doing the things that will help you improve".

How many PM's does it take to launch a rocket?

It would be great to know more about the contribution of project management to the successful launch of the Space X Heavy Falcon rocket this afternoon.

In the meantime, watching the two side booster rockets land simultaneously after separation from the main rocket in flight looks like something right out of a science fiction movie, simply amazing. The main launch is at 28 minutes, booster separation at 32 minutes, and the booster landing at 36 minutes. Don't miss the booster landing!

I have to believe this guy had an expectation of a positive outcome, and thankfully he landed safely.
